“As a trustee for the French public school board serving Peel Region, my priority will be to strengthen French-language education and build a strong and inclusive Francophone identity in our schools. French is one of Canada’s two official languages and our schools have the responsibility to ensure it remains strong for future generations. I believe diversity is one of our greatest strengths. Every student, regardless of their background, should feel welcomed, supported and proud to learn and live in French. I will advocate for appropriate class sizes, personalized learning and strong classroom resources so that learning gaps can be identified and addressed early and efficiently.”
