Stephen Sims wants at least 60 beds and two equivalent hospital sites, and opposes the current model.

  • Supports a minimum of 60 acute-care beds; says South Muskoka growth requires appropriate facilities.
  • Wants the plan revisited for two equivalent sites; opposes municipal funding under a deal that promised two equivalent sites but did not deliver.
  • Does not support the current MAHC redevelopment model.
  • Found MAHC public meetings frustrating because the full answers never came.
Show their words & source (several paragraphs)
“The Town contribution was worded in a way that expected two equivalent sites. That's not what was dropped on us.”
