Peter Gordon Piluk

Candidate for Ward 10 Councillor

In their own words

This candidate hasn’t listed a campaign website or social account with the Town. That says nothing about them as a candidate — it just means less of their material is published online for us to summarise.

Piluk backs the province’s e-bike class proposal and aligning Kitchener bylaws for trail safety.

  • Supports differentiating lightweight e-bikes from heavier moped-style vehicles.
  • E-bikes meeting 32 km/h and 55 kg limits should get the same access as standard bicycles.

“I support what the provincial government is proposing, and Kitchener should align its bylaws accordingly. Differentiating lightweight e-bikes from heavier moped-style vehicles is practical and necessary for trail safety. As long as an e-bike meets the 32 km/h speed and 55 kg weight limits, giving it the same access as a standard bicycle keeps our active transit rules clear, safe, and consistent across the region.”
