Candidate for Ward 7 Councillor
This candidate hasn’t listed a campaign website or social account with the Town. That says nothing about them as a candidate — it just means less of their material is published online for us to summarise.
Every candidate in this race is shown against the same 16 issues, in the same order, whether or not we’ve found something for each one. Why we do it this way.

Nanan wants the expired 2022-2025 Vision Zero strategy renewed and downtown-core bike-lane success replicated city-wide.
“There are a 2 issues particularly that I would be looking forward to engaging in discussions with City Council, if elected; 1) The 2022-2025 VisionZero Strategy - Expired 2) Building on the success of the active transportation (bike lanes) in the Kitchener downtown-core Issues: 1) Candidates should be aware that The 2022-2025 VisionZero strategy has expired. This will be an upcoming issue for Kitchener City Council following the election, as Council will have to discuss and implement ideas and direction regarding Kitchener City Council next steps. My lived experiences, inter-community and legal perspectives will enable me to collaborate effectively in Council dialogues that promote strategic insights and informed advocacy to ensure cultural responsiveness and mainstreaming diversity, inclusion and accessibility for all community members of Kitchener. 2) As a resident and occasional cyclist, I have followed initiatives of the CycleWR. The success of CycleWR's project in Kitchener's downtown-core proved, with rideship numbers, the efficacy of the project, some even calling it a 'good investment'. If elected, I would like to collaborate with CycleWR, in working together to build greater success throughout our shared community.”

Candidates and members of the public can both report a correction. Every one is logged and answered, and corrections about a candidate’s own positions get priority.
