Candidate for Councillor - Ward 20 (Scarborough Southwest)

In their own words

This candidate hasn’t listed a campaign website or social account with the Town. That says nothing about them as a candidate — it just means less of their material is published online for us to summarise.

Where they stand

Every candidate in this race is shown against the same 16 issues, in the same order, whether or not we’ve found something for each one. Why we do it this way.

Housing

Will I be able to afford to live here?

Calls for investigating and reducing property taxes and immediately approving and building more homes to ease housing supply pressure.

  • Investigate and reduce property tax.

Transit

Can I get where I need to go without driving?

Opposes bike lanes and streetcars as traffic congestion; supports more buses, more subways, and bringing back car lanes.

  • Bike lanes and streetcars congest streets and should go.
  • Supports more buses and more subway.
  • In favour of bringing back more car lanes.
Show their words & source (a few sentences)
“The bike lanes and streetcars have congested our streets, and need to go! 1) The vehicles on the bike lanes are a hazard to drivers and to pedestrians, they hardly ever follow any rules of the road, have ZERO regulations, and cant be punished for their violations. 2) The concept of a streetcar is nice, BUT, when they make a stop they shut down traffic in the process. Track and Cable maintenance result in more road closures. I support more busses, and more subway. I'm in favour to bring back more car lanes to the streets.”
